Wednesday, 11 November 2009. Its 12pm the rain is poring down and I need to go to sleep - start trip tomorrow morning at 5:30am in the dark, just hope it stops raining. Food tonight ok lots of crack talking that is. We rest tomorrow then its of on day 10 290Kms Masainagudi to Kodaikanal the finel 3 days are to be mind blowing we will need to be 110% on our game especially the hill clinb to Kodaikanal. Monday, 2 November 2009. Steve and Ian First Leg. Ian and Steve are now on the first leg of their amasing journey. After a good flight and having fed and watered we are off to select a car for the duration of the drive. Hope to get a half decent one because some of them look way past their sell by date. Thursday, 5 November 2009. Today's ride was 160m we got with the lead group and it was fast more like the RAC Rally we where 1hr ahead of time and 3rd back. Time for bed we have an early start tomorrow we are staying in the same bed tonight god forbid. Accommodation is basically a shed with a bed. Its got a small bulb, the problem is we find it difficult to find the room as the is very little electricity and it often just goes out completely. Tuesday, 10 November 2009. Our lads have had a bad night but an early morning call for a safari soon lightened their spirits. Elephants, deer, wild boar, monkeys (that's Steve commonly known to his friends as a "cheeky monkey" bison, eagles, woodpeckers - hang on we have those back here, plus a large tortoise and many other exotic birds. Monday, 9 November 2009. Day of rest at long last and boy do we need it. On yesterdays drive around Mysore we encountered several dead animals on the roasd side - due to the horrendous driving of the locals. Hotel tonight the best so far and we are hoping we might have our own beds. Actually had our first cup of Tetleys tea for a week. Off for city tour for an hour - pictures and update later. Tuesday, 3 November 2009. Hi One and all,. Day1 Warm up day to Colva beach. We are up and running and indeed attached is a visual of our wonderful car. We are proudly displaying our sponsors as you can see. Temperature 36 degrees. Car has had its first outing today doing a measly 35km but boy was ity tough. We both had a go and the roads are as rough as expected - not as rough as the a cow would have been if Ian had actually hit it! Thank you all for your support and onward. The Boars Nest (Hull).

Friday, 6 November 2009. Day 3 -Long drive today 250M to Murudeshwar with a detour through the mountains very steep in parts and lots of the route very rough with loose stones and shingle. Steve drove the 1st part of the day must of changed gears 1000s of times in the mountains it was very demanding. Weather dry and very hot 32C and dust every where.
