Thursday, August 27, 2009. Visiting Gammi and Craig. We had a wonderful vacation to Massachusetts to visit family! We spent a lot of time with Gammi (my mom) and Craig on the Cape. Wednesday, July 7, 2010. Traveling today went well, considering that it was our third day straight in the car. The boys watched a couple of movies, and the cats lounged in the back. Monday, September 28, 2009. Happy Anniversary, Honey! Tuesday, September 15, 2009. Over Labor Day weekend, we went on a family camping trip to the San Bernardino National Forest. Friday, July 9, 2010. Days 4 and 5. Day 4: More driving. We're all a little sick of the car at this point. But we did get to see many beautiful cornfields and windmills. Such is the beauty of America. At the end of today, we will arrive at the lakehouse in Wisconsin- hopefully in time for dinner! Uncle Larry is lighting the bonfire and we are off to toast marshmallows. It is great to catch up with Uncle Larry and Aunt Carolann at their own home- usually we see them in the road! More tomorrow. :-).

Wednesday, March 24, 2010. We celebrated Erik's 38th birthday at home with all of us. I hope you had a wonderful birthday, honey (March 2nd). Monday, July 12, 2010. July 12th- On The Road Again. Speaking of Erik and the boys, they spent the day driving from Wisconsin to Indiana with Oma and the cats. After a rough start involving two separate cat throw-up incidents, they finally arrived and are theoretically sound asleep. I say "theoretically" because I am certain the boys are chattering up a storm while Daddy and Oma try to sleep. :-). Tuesday, June 15, 2010. What soap tastes like? Just ask Matty- I'm sure he'll be happy to fill you in. He decided to take big bite out of the bar on my vanity one morning while I was getting ready. :-). In our quest to see all of SoCal before we move east, we headed to Legoland last month. I was amazed at everything built from Legos! The boys with a Lego Bob the Builder, who is one of their favorite television characters. Erik explaining the US Capitol Building to Alex. My boys. :-). Very cool Lego dragon.
