In and around the Cotswolds, England. Saturday, 20 August 2011. It's nearly eight miles away and there was a horribly long hill to climb up. After the wood is turned to shape, each pen is sanded through at least 15 stages up to 12000 grit and then is given at least 8 coats of a mix of Linseed oil and cyanoacrylate before being polished. This process adds strength as well as a beautiful finish - Friction polishes and waxes will dull very quickly! Which is why I do not use them!
