Chic Staging & Design: Dresser to Bench
http://chicstaginganddesign.blogspot.com/2012/02/dresser-to-bench.html
Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Well, we know is has been ages since we have last made a post so here goes. We picked up a dresser a few weeks ago and it was missing a few drawers. We saw the potential it had in it that others missed. So, we decided to make a bench! We forgot to get a before picture of the dresser because I, Kamille, was to impatient to start the demo :). We gave it a nice coat of our favorite blue. Added some new hardware and topped it off with some burlap pillows. What do you guys think?

SOOOO MANY YEARS!: Getting Out of the Cold
http://ladydy5.blogspot.com/2013/02/getting-out-of-cold.html
My Photos on Flickr. Saturday, February 2, 2013. Getting Out of the Cold. We begin with an RV trip to Florida, warm, sunny Florida. Wouldn't want to live there in the Summer, did so for 35 years and had enough. But, with two children residing there we just had to visit them and the grands. Then we moved south to Palm Bay, Florida to visit a son, 3 days of semi-warmth but of course in Tennessee it was 25 and snowing. Then on to a campground next to a new Walmart (how great is that) in Lakeland, Florida.

SOOOO MANY YEARS!: Just Children!
http://ladydy5.blogspot.com/2015/05/just-children.html
My Photos on Flickr. Thursday, May 7, 2015. On May 2nd I attended a Woman's Christian conference Clinton, Tennessee called "Fresh Grounded Faith.". Everyone who entered the auditorium received a bag which contained information as to what the agenda would consist of, information regarding the speakers etc. As the auditorium started filling up I looked into this bag noticing a plastic envelope and a photo of a child's face inside it. It would cost me $38 a month so much less than I spend each month on misc...

Country Glamour Home: Revamped Dining Room
http://www.countryglamourhome.com/2011/06/revamped-dining-room.html
Tuesday, June 14, 2011. My dining room has gone through many changes in last few years. I just can't seem to make up my mind. For years I had it painted a deep burgundy with blue accessories than went to red and I felt like I lived in the American flag room. Are red rooms even in style anymore? Needless to say I got out the paint brush and paint can and started to paint away.again! I'll definitely keep it through the summer. This is the buffet, I changed out the lamps for a simpler lamp base. Open House ...

http://ladydy5.blogspot.com/2012/05/iris-state-flower-of-tennessee.html
My Photos on Flickr. Sunday, May 6, 2012. Iris - State Flower of Tennessee. You will see these flowers on all the roads in Tennessee. I doubt if there is really any road that somehow hasn't produced one or several of these plants. They seem to grow fervently throughout our cities and that must be why Tennessee adopted them as our State Flower. I hope that you can click on the photo to get a really closeup look. Ladydy5 aka: Diane Yates. Sunday, May 06, 2012. May 7, 2012 at 7:08 AM. It's a Gator Fan.

SOOOO MANY YEARS!: My 1600 inch strip Quilt top
http://ladydy5.blogspot.com/2011/09/my-1600-inch-strip-quilt-top.html
My Photos on Flickr. Wednesday, September 14, 2011. My 1600 inch strip Quilt top. A new direction in quilting for me. Easy now, but frustrated me a little in the beginning. My girlfriend told me to check out a video on a 1600 inch quilting site. She said she did one of these tops at a retreat and did it in 35 minutes. Well, right up my alley. So I checked it out. Bought myself a 40 strip jellyroll and started. However, without going into. Third day but I completed a top. Not ironed as yet. September 26, ...
