Thursday, August 7, 2014. Dressing up the shop. A couple of years ago, we outgrew our small workspace and decided to build a workshop that sits at the side of our backyard. For a long time it was a bit of an eyesore and pretty boring. I'd still like to paint it a different color, but we did build some shutters and a garden box to add some character. Saturday, March 21, 2015. For years, we've wanted to flip a house and we finally decided to do it! Our first flip needed to be small and somewhat simple, since it was our first go-around. Unfortunately, I didn't take the best before and after pics, so this will have to do :). Here it is after. By sticking with neutral colors on the cabinets, walls, backsplash, floor tile, and countertops, it created a much more open flow throughout the kitchen and dining area.
