Tuesday, March 10, 2009. 50 years of continued miracles. Yesterday, March 9, 2009, was a special day in our family. You see, 50 years ago on that date, something miraculous happened. No, it wasn't the introduction of the Barbie doll (although that happened 50 years ago yesterday as well! My dad was not expected to survive. Friday, November 27, 2009. 2009 has been a really difficult, really productive year for the Ewings. Let me update you on every family member, starting with the head of the house:. Russ has still been unable to work full time this year because of his torn shoulder rotator. But what a good problem to have. He is still adjusting to the new lifestyle, and will be for a while. The kids are adjusting just fine, and so am I. Word is still out on Poppi. Russ and I finished the interim pastorate in Hicksville.
