We hope the accommodation we offer will help you enjoy a thoroughly relaxing and peaceful holiday. There are family, double and twin-bedded rooms with en-suite facilities: all have chairs, a beverage tray, television and hair dryers. The conservatory and patio have spectacular views, and are available for guests to enjoy at any time. The house has full central heating. A conservatory for use by guests also has fine views overlooking the river. The bedrooms are clean and comfortable.

There are many things to do here. You can enjoy the river, by taking a pleasure boat from Dartmouth to Totnes, or, if you prefer to be more independent, there are boats for hire from Dittisham Quay. A regular ferry service runs between Dittisham and Dartmouth, and between the village and Greenway Quay. You can do one of many painting courses at the nearby Coombe Farm Studios.

Dittisham is situated at the widest part of the River Dart, where at high tide the water stretches for over a mile to Galmpton on the far shore. Known as Dittisham Lake, this is the largest cleararea for sailing on the river. Visitors to the village will have no difficulty in enjoying sailing and boating on the river. In the spring of 1894 a man who lived in Dittisham and worked in Dartmouth became airborne on the slopes above Dittisham Mill Creek in a machine he designed and constructed himself. Our aviator was Albert Liwentaal, a Swiss born engineer who worked in the shipyards of Simpson and Strickland at Noss in Dartmouth. We are a working farm situated just outside the picturesque village of Dittisham. The family have been living in this glorious location for 70 years. From the house there are glorious views of the River Dart and the coast line of Devon and Dorset in the distance. To the north Dartmoor can be seen where the well known Hay Tor clearly stands out. On the river boats can be seen making there journey to Dartmouth or Totnes.
