He joked with her that these would be her new glasses - she was not amused :). She's not color blind - I already knew this since everything she owns is pink or purple :). We have to purchase a new stroller for him and since insurance already paid for a wheelchair they will not pay for a stroller. Life with Emi Joy and Jack. Sunday, September 23, 2012. This weekend I got a new car, well it's not really a car it's more like a tank. I'm still getting used to it - it's massive! We were very limited in our options - I need my 3rd row seat and I needed something we could put a wheelchair lift on and the only option was a Suburban or Yukon XL. Life with Emi Joy and Jack. Tuesday, May 28, 2013. Our 10th wedding anniversary is May 31 so we decided to head to the beach for a few days of R&R. Since we have to factor babysitters into the equation we decided to go over Memorial Day Weekend. We headed out Thursday morning and came home Monday night. It was wonderful and way too quick! My morning view while having coffee. Yes, I was cold. Brian though it was hilarious so he took a picture. Only I would get cold on the beach :). I sure am missing that ...

Life with Emi Joy and Jack. Wednesday, August 29, 2012. Here's a preview of how well tennis lessons are going:. Here's Emi skipping around the court. PS she's not kicking that poor boy, it just looks like it in the picture ;). She suppose to be bouncing and catching her tennis ball but she's smiling and looking at me. Ball to the face - her own ball that she managed to somehow throw and then hit herself in the face. sheesh! This was only the first lesson so hopefully she will get a little better :).
