Change, bad or good? There's a lot of changes going on in my life right now. I just graduated from college, (YAY! Change is almost never easy, but if change never happens, progress cannot be made. What if slavery, a horrible abuse of civil rights were never abolished? Links to this post. May 10, 2011. After this capsto...

Scrubs & Cupcakes: February 2012
http://scrubsandcupcakes.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Jesus Nursing. Food. Things I enjoy. February 2, 2012. Many of you may know of the scrapbooking website, Pinterest, where people "pin" pictures of things that look nice. Some of you may know I am an occasional pinner. One picture I pinned to my FOOD board was the cheesecake filled strawberries. They're an easy, small item list recipe: strawberries, cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and graham cracker crumbs. Here is my try at them. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Scrubs & Cupcakes: Night and Day
http://scrubsandcupcakes.blogspot.com/2012/05/night-and-day.html
Jesus Nursing. Food. Things I enjoy. May 28, 2012. Three posts in three days? Is this a new record? This irregularity of schedule very quickly became clear once I started working and I found a church. I have found that being able to serve in the capacity which I did back home, in California, has become impossible, which has been been frustrating, even causing some internal turmoil. As a new nurse and a young person in the profession, I am often asked, "What next? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Scrubs & Cupcakes: March 2011
http://scrubsandcupcakes.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Jesus Nursing. Food. Things I enjoy. March 24, 2011. Why do I want to be a nurse? It's experiences like this that made me want to do nursing. God has told us to help those in need, to help the orphans and widows. If your neighbor is hungry, feed them, if they need clothing, give them your jacket, if they ask you for money, give to them, without expecting them to pay you back.I hope I can do something like that with nursing. Scrubs & Cupcakes: Summer in the Cafe
http://scrubsandcupcakes.blogspot.com/2012/05/summer-in-cafe.html
Jesus Nursing. Food. Things I enjoy. May 31, 2012. Summer in the Cafe. By Bob Kauflin, something that took me way too long, as I got sidetracked by The Hunger Games. Series, which were recommended by my coworkers. I breezed through those at an unnatural rate for me. As my job is composed of 90 percent female, I hear banter about the next big series to read: Fifty Shades of Grey. But I digress. I have started a new book. Onward. Scrubs & Cupcakes: November 2011
http://scrubsandcupcakes.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Jesus Nursing. Food. Things I enjoy. November 8, 2011. This post took me multiple tries of me trying to figure exactly how I wanted to tell of my church visiting experience in West Virginia (WV) so far. Let me start of by saying this. My hope is to find a church that has solid, Bible-centered beliefs, where I can serve in some capacity. I enjoyed experiencing all three churches, and everyone was friendly. I think maybe I've found a church where I can both grow, and serve. Links to this post.
