Chapter 3: The Interview. August 30, 2012. Just when I thought I was going to end up waiting tables for months until someone finally noticed me, a miracle happened. But first, a look at the past:. I think it’s safe to say I’ve come a long way from the timid 8 year old girl who used to cry over everything in grade school. Aside from all of this, I have experienced an inner growth in New York City ten-fold and I’ve only been here for 5 days. A firm hand shake and it was all over. This was 5 hours ago.

It’s always been my favorite herb, and I really don’t need to explain why if you know what pesto is. Or caprese salad. Or bruschetta. Man, I’m getting hungry! However, what makes it truly magical (to me, at least) is that it can be propagated from trimmings! Did you know that? I decided to test this out myself and it totally worked! So cool, right?
