Wednesday, March 7, 2012. Brandon Turns 8 - Hockey Style. It is hard to believe, but Brandon turned 8 in January. First we celebrated at home with just family, cupcakes and presents. Later that week for Brandon's party he took two of his best friends to a Colorado Eagles Hockey game. The boys had a great time as you can see in the pictures below. Brandon with his best friend Nolan ready to leave for the game! Eating out before the game! They got a puck! Watching at the glass! The boys having fun!

Saturday, August 4, 2012. A Softball Season to Remember. Taylor had an amazing softball season this summer. It was so fun because she already knew many of the girls from last year’s team and they had an outstanding season by finishing 2nd out of 14 teams. Charlie and I were blown away at how much Taylor improved this year. She really stepped up her game both in pitching and hitting. In fact she became the go to pitcher and pitched in every tournament game. 2012 Y10 Girls Fastpitch Softball Stars.

Friday, July 20, 2012. Ths year our family was blessed to celebrate the 4th of July with Great Grammie, my dad and his wonderful girlfriend Bobbie. About a year ago my dad moved his mother from Kansas to an assistant living center in Loveland, CO. and it has been such a blessing to have Grammie more involved in our family activities over the past year. Since she lives right by the Loveland Lake and has an ideal location for watching the fireworks we decided to have the party at her place.

Saturday, June 30, 2012. It is hard to believe, but in June Caleb turned 6. Our family tradition is to let the kid’s pick where they would like to eat for their birthday and this year Caleb picked Chuck e Cheese. It was a great time for all and offered us a time to reflect on how much Caleb has grown over the year. He is turning into such an amazing young boy and we are so blessed to have him in our family. So excited and for the first year he waiting until we were done singing to blow out the candles.

At times 6 years ago seems like just yesterday and others it seems like so long ago. Life always seems to be in fast forward for us. Between school, work and sports LIFE IS BEYOND BUSY. September 15, 2012. Makenna played her first full season of soccer with Colorado Storm this fall and LOVED it! She was a little fireball on the field. She played in the developmental division were they played 3 vs. 3 on a modified field. Great division for learning the fundamentals of the game. I'm pretty sure she will be playing many more season! May 31, 2013. Another One Down …. Today was the last day of school. I’m both exited and scared. We have tons of fun planned for the summer … which excites me! May 24, 2012. Cookies for Mrs. Claudia …. Yesterday was a sad day for us. It was Makenna’s last day at The Learning House. I knew it was going to be crushing for me! The Learning House has been a part of Justin and Makenna’s early school experience for the past 7 years. Both kids started in their 2 year old play group and now 7 years later it is time to say goodbye. My babies are growing up … can you believe Makenna will start Kindergarten in the fall.
