The organisation to which I belong is the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am an accredited member (MBACP), and this means that I have met their criteria for experienced and professionally trained counsellors. I maintain the annual accreditation by regular ongoing professional development, training, and my own supervision. My counselling qualifications are:. MA in Psychodynamic Counselling from the University of Birmingham. Relate Certificate in Couple Counselling.

The services I can offer you are:. Open-ended weekly psychodynamic counselling. Brief therapy with an agreed focus for our work together, usually 6 sessions. The service starts with your email or phone call and although I have an answerphone, I will normally get back to you within 24 hours. If for some reason we decide that I’m not the right counsellor, I will always try to offer alternative suggestions. Each session is 50 minutes, although occasionally couples find a longer session more convenient.
