New blog – what’s in a name? 8211; מה נסגר עם השם? 8220;What’s in a name” is my way of saying that “Belvane” was taken, oddly enough, so I had to resort to “Countess Belvane”, which, to anyone not familiar with the relevant book, might sound somewhat self-worshippy and quite appalling. But…. The Countess Belvane is the delightfully-human, shamelessly so, villainess on A. A. Milne’s book,. Once On A Time. Welcome to your new digital digs…🙂. On August 4, 2011.

Just another WordPress.com site. The option to ramble out all the junk in my head is one of the many gifts the internet. Gave me. I rant about art, translations to Hebrew, having to do the dishes, my family, gaming, fantasy, history, books and many other things I was exposed to since my birth at 1977. It’s not that there’s anything bad about you, or somesuch. It’s just that I want to be away from you, where I can get the same without having to bang my head flat on the wall on a daily basis. Already said I'm off to see Poland in September, didn't I? Mixed feelings about seeing pretty country side, meeting a friend and facing the horrors of the Holocaust and all that. Not that I'll be going south to Pinsk, but I should. I should. Oh, the guilt. Befitting. And apart from that? Did I mention painting? I'm afraid you have. Not in bed, dammit.
