Counting Clovers

Not to mention how incredibly DELICIOUS it is, to boot. :). Here is the recipe:. 2 cups of packed brown sugar (I make my own using molasses and granulated cane sugar). Wednesday, Ap...

Counting Clovers: August 2012

http://www.countingclovers.com/2012_08_01_archive.html

Monday, August 27, 2012. To Canada and Back (part 1 Calumet Island). A month ago, my Hubs had a work related trip to California, for a week. That meant that the fellas and I would have an entire week without Hubs being home. What to do, what to do? We will take a trip to New York to see our family, do a little sight seeing, and head up to the 1000 Islands. We had a WONDERFUL adventure. But all I heard was the crashing of the waves against the boat. Stay tuned for "Around Grindstone Island". I am a wife, ...

Thursday, May 31, 2012. After our tour through the Mummies exhibit, we explored the museum. What a fun place to visit! So many exciting, activities, and interesting facts. The aquarium was one of the boys' favorite places, in the museum. What a great experience. we will go back. Tuesday, May 15, 2012. That was about 2 months ago. Counting Clovers: April 2014

http://www.countingclovers.com/2014_04_01_archive.html

Wednesday, April 23, 2014. Earth day is celebrated every day around our house. We love the earth. We love nature. We love being outside, lost in the woods. It's music to our weary souls, and often times rejuvenates us in a way that nothing else can even come close. Earth day seemed to be the best time to do our part cleaning up this creek. SO, armed with rain boots, 2 trash grabbers, a garden rake, leaf rake, a shovel, paint bucket and 50 gallon garbage can in tow, we set out to do just that. There is a ...

Counting Clovers: January 2013

http://www.countingclovers.com/2013_01_01_archive.html

Sunday, January 20, 2013. We have an idea. The boys made a light bulb, and you can too. Mason jar or other clear glass. Toilet paper tube (empty, of course). Pencil Lead (from a mechanical pencil). Two sets of small alligator clips. What you will do:. Using electrical tape, tape the eight D-sized batteries together, end-to-end, with the positive ends connected to the negative ends. Tape the tube with the clips attached to a pie pan so that it stands upright, with the clips facing up. We have an idea.

Counting Coconuts

Wednesday, April 10, 2013. As you can see, I haven't been blogging regularly for several months now. This is a result of a sudden blog-break I had to take last fall, and the subsequent enjoyment of realized free time! But of course they'll work perfectly for spring as well! Thank you for your comments! Wednesday, November 28, 2012. Please keep in mind t...
