Saturday, February 25, 2012. For Bronsen's birthday this year he wanted green eggs and ham for his birthday dinner and a giant cookie instead of a cake. SO that is what I made him and it was yummy! He also wanted Alvin and the Chipmunks but we kept getting the same Happy Meal toy and so we only collected two out of three chipmunks ;( But Bronsen is a most flexible child and he said that it was fine because we had "almost all of them." But a few things about B at 6 years old. You are our BEST BIG BOY!

Thursday, May 06, 2010. So, I Almost Cut Off My Finger. I've been a Substitute Teacher now for about 4 years. I have had two injuries during the past four years. Both were at school. Thank goodness for Work Med and School Insurance! I can't say that I am the most graceful person in the land, but freaky accidents happen to me every once in a while. Tuesday, April 28, 2009. A Day at Grandma's. The Jacobs Boys were out in "full-force" today. Gabe as Anikan, and Ian as Luke had a blast. However you can see that Simon did NOT enjoy his wookie costume! Finger Paint Artists at work. Ian went for "Fire and Sunset" colors, while Gabe made a "Storm at the Ocean". Simon was just happy to be "big". He chose yellow and orange with a little bit of pink. We also made butterfly art.remember the days when you did that in kindergarten? Posted by Sheila Jacobs.

Friday, June 1, 2012. T Ball Spring 2012. This was our 2nd session in one year and we were so busy. Ben was B's coach again it was so busy. Between Kalli and Bronsen we were at practice or a game days a week! They both got a lot better and Kalli even caught a few line drives to win the game. Saturday, January 28, 2012. Christmas 2011 and New Years 2012. Our first Christmas in the south was great. It got cold , but didn't snow! We made our traditional gingerbread houses and we even found time to make some homemade sugar cookies. The kids opened PJ's on Christmas Eve and couldn't' wait for Santa to come. We went to our friends neighborhood for a New Year's block party. We lit our fireworks, ate some BBQ and roasted marshmallows. Sunday, January 8, 2012. It was super cute and the kids LOVED it!

Wednesday, June 20, 2012. Bronsen's graduation was great! They sang the cutest songs and looked so grown up! He had a great kindergarten year and his teacher said she doesn't think she will ever have a kindergartener as smart as B again. He is such a sweet boy and has really loved his first year of school.
