From the 1st of January to the 1st of May 2013. Now that its early May I can honestly say that this spring has been painfully long! Never seen so much snow in my life before and no matter how much I love winter sports, it was just too much and too long. There was not any spot left where to showel the snow. On the other hand it was a challenge trying to find your car after a days snowstorm– all snowdrifts looked pretty much alike! We, up here in the North salute the spring! My favourite stuff ,foodstuff. I LOVE food, I love cooking and I love having food lovers around! Only problem is that taking pictures and cooking at the same time is not easy, I always end up taking few pics in the beginning but them I forget the whole thing until it is time to serve the food…. Just a simple and a quick bake can make the coffee moment something special and it does not take too much time, just get your ingredients out and mix! Nothing is as soothing as chocolate! Back to Rome…. In august is hot and sunny. Downtown streets are crowded with tourists with their maps on their way to the next place to see and explore. In the mornings locals are hurrying to work, stopping only for the quick espresso and hot croissant. Only tourists are sitting down for their coffee. and pay at least 5 for a cuppa, instead of the locals who have ‘standing’ coffee for 90 cents! It is located very close to the Fontana di Trevi, along Via d. Panetteria. Worth checking out!
