Thursday, August 7, 2014. It's 5am and I'm awake, what else would you do but get up and do a blog post? I've cranked the heater, made a Milo and got a box of tissues by my side.someone has shared their cold with me.:(. I was thinking I'd get another blog post in before July ended and then realised we were well into August.so my brain's in a bit of a fog at the moment. I've been having fun playing around with some ideas and stitchy techniques. Gotta love Pansies and Violas and their sweet, little faces.

They are almost past now but the forget-me-nots have put on a very pretty display in the garden for a number of weeks. They are now at the stage where they want to stick their little seeds to your clothing and come inside. In one of my Scrapbooks I found these snippets about these dear little flowers. Daisies, Doilies and Donkeys. Saturday, April 20, 2013. Going away for a wee while. Away up to Dunedin again, it's two and a half hours from here by car and it's become a road well travelled since Sept when I was diagnosed with cancer. I have just had a week in Dunedin having radiotherapy treatment and now some lovely days at home before going back for a major operation, so I won't be in this wee space for a few weeks. Thursday, February 16, 2012. The Green Bin #2. I made this sample Building Blocks trophy from recycled paper. It's all done now and ready (all that is still short is the plague) for the presentation. Hope they will love it, and I get the approval to go ahead. Here is the process:. Step 1 I had to make the Molds. Step 2 make the Paper pulp. Step 3 Place pulp in molds and let it dry. Step 4 Once dried remove from mold. Here the original block with the Paper Blocks. Now its done , and hoping they will like.
