The sun peeked out for 1/2 hour yesterday and I got a picture snapped. As I was adding the buttons, I happened to measure them. They are quite a bit smaller than I thought.about 5/8. So adjust the button size you look for. Posted by hudsonvalleyfiberweb at 6:26 AM EDT. Monday, 31 August 2009 - 4:30 PM EDT. Reply to this Comment.

Personal blatherings, living simply, gardening, cooking, canning, dehydrating, knitting, spinning and more. The first part lists friends, acquaintances and fellow artist/crafters' sites that I admire and respect. Some have blogs. Check out their sites! The other links are general links I look at for various purposes. Aziza is a wearable art artist. She makes clothing, costumes, various items and belly-dancing costumes. J's knitting blog: update
http://jsknittingblog.blogspot.com/2009/12/update.html
Where I talk about knitting and life (mainly mine) in general. Thursday, December 31, 2009. Update on Inishmore: I finally finished it earlier this year. I believe my Ravelry page has more on this. There are pics on it that I took shortly after I finished it. I think it looks great on him, despite the different dyelots. Unfortunately, we don't know what the heck happened to it. We can't find it anywhere. It's really a strange situation. What can I say DW, youve been busy! I Love You and enjoy your craft!

Where I talk about knitting and life (mainly mine) in general. Wednesday, May 28, 2008. Getting back to Giselle, since I'm making the long crochet version I have done the top and bottom, both sleeves and I'm almost done with one sleeve flare. I hope to goodness it fits me and looks decent. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Adopt your own virtual pet! I'm a wife, and mother of 2 very energetic boys. I am also obsessed with knitting! J's knitting blog: Finished Mittens
http://jsknittingblog.blogspot.com/2010/02/finished-mittens.html
Where I talk about knitting and life (mainly mine) in general. Saturday, February 20, 2010. I've finished the mittens for the Ravelympics 2010. Here they are:. I'm surprised at how easy they were to make. The first time around they were quite difficult proabably because I'd never knit them up before and the yarn was sport weight. I'm very pleased with them. I've already had requests from DH for a pair for himself. I would point out that I am happily awaiting their creation with wonderous anticipation!

J's knitting blog: August 2008
http://jsknittingblog.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Where I talk about knitting and life (mainly mine) in general. Wednesday, August 27, 2008. Been away for a while. Now I'm working on Inishmore again and have successfully finished the front of the sweater. I happen to be have a major difficulty with the sweater now because I don't think I'll have enough of the Rowan Magpie Aran to finish it up. I wrote up my dilemma on Knitter's Review and one person came up with the idea of seeing if anyone on Ravelry. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Been away for a while.

I love it when I can find a bargain and be happy about the purchase, too. Enough of my kvetching! I am hoping by this time next week, Giselle will be done! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
