Count The Simple Miracles: July 2010
http://countthesimplemiracles.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Count The Simple Miracles. Life is good. Life is a gift. Celebrate life! Wednesday, July 28, 2010. With a pit to spit and a taste that's a hit. There are lots of things that I like that include cherries: Cherry chocolate chip ice cream, oatmeal cherry chocolate chip cookies, cherry yogurt. Where are acceptable places to spit cherry pits? My struggling tomato crop. Perhaps I should start a compost. Could cherry pits be added to a compost pile? Posted by Agent PK. Wednesday, July 21, 2010. This summer, I a...

Count The Simple Miracles. Life is good. Life is a gift. Celebrate life! Thursday, November 17, 2011. Dropping temperatures and windy days have left our front and backyards downright carpeted in leaves. Since we live next to a forest, there are plenty of leaves that fall on our lot. In response, my housemates and I have had several "two-rake" days recently. Raking leaves, I think, is great exercise. In what order should they be raked? Posted by Agent PK. Count The Simple Miracles. Life is good. Life is a gift. Celebrate life! Thursday, October 28, 2010. Repetitive indication of one's next destination. As technology increases, will turn signals ever become obsolete? For instance, will vehicles have devices that send out laser messages when they are turning that are holographically projected onto other vehicles' windshields? Four-way blinkers are a very interesting use of turn signals, I think. A right turn signals means, "I am turning right." A le...In we...

Count The Simple Miracles. Life is good. Life is a gift. Celebrate life! Wednesday, February 23, 2011. Making veggies or meat a well-moistened treat. I actually don't use olive oil that much. But maybe I should. When my housemate Dan sautees the peppers and onions for our Sunday scrambled eggs in olive oil before he adds the eggs, the taste is definitely better. What is it about olives that leads them to produce oil? In contrast, you never hear about "tomato oil" or "broccoli oil" or "strawberry oil.".

Count The Simple Miracles. Life is good. Life is a gift. Celebrate life! Thursday, September 30, 2010. 100 CLEAR NIGHT SKIES. Leaving mouths ajar with tiny light from afar. Thanks to my mom for indirectly suggesting this simple miracle. Recently, she wrote, "I just had to double check that number. [Reaching number] 98 is very impressive. # 100 is certain to require a stellar theme! I envy those, like my sister Missy, who know the different constellations of stars. Contemplative in the City: Surrender is hard work
http://acontemplativeinthecity.blogspot.com/2010/11/surrender-is-hard-work.html
Contemplative in the City. Thursday, November 4, 2010. Surrender is hard work. We've all heard countless times that the key to our peace in any situation, large or small is that we surrender our will to God's will. We have to trust in His providence, and abandon ourselves to His providence and He will take care of the rest. Unfortunately though, this is not usually the case. Surrender does not mean that we will immediately be freed from the grunt work and our problems will be miraculously solved.

Contemplative in the City. Monday, June 28, 2010. ALA Conference.the summit for Librarians. Over the past three days I attended my first American Library Association (ALA) Conference. A General Hobby / Wargaming Blog, with snippets of life and music thrown in for fun. Sunday, 9 June 2013. Time to Rock N' Roll. So it has been quite some time since I last posted any kind of update, so here we go. During this time, I’d fiddled with the odd miniature here and there, but with no gaming or goal orientated hobbying, the sense of urgency or need to get anything finished, caused it all to slowly drag on forever. I’ve decided to do a very heavily converted pair of 40k Armies, one a. Looking to ...
