October 10, 2015. 1 onion, chopped. 1 colored pepper, chopped. 1 hot pepper (whatever heat you like), chopped. 1/2 pound ground meat (sausage, beef, chicken, turkey, whatever). 1 box frozen spinach, thawed and drained. 1 Tbsp Easy Taco Seasoning. Leave off if you're using sausage). 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Brown ground meat, add taco seasoning and 1/8 cup water and cook until liquid evaporates. Remove meat and set aside. Whisk eggs in a large bowl. Just trying to grow.

What’s in the garden. July 10, 2014. The cover is a cute little volunteer Brown Eyed Susan. I love these flowers, and love them even more when they just rise up on their own from the ground. Now, there are ugly marigolds and there are cute marigolds. I think these are cute. I’m sorry but I don’t remember the variety (this is why you should take better records of what you’re planting). Just trying to grow. Slow Cooker Tomato Soup. Slow Cooker Red Potato and Corn Soup. No Meat Slow Cooker Lasagna.

October 10, 2015. 1 zucchini, peeled and cut into cubes ( 1 3/4 of a cup). 1/2 cup macadamia nuts (if they're salted just cut back a bit on the added salt below). 1 1/2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil. 2 tsp lemon juice. 1 tsp sea salt. 1 teaspoon of cumin. Dash of hot pepper. Put everything in a 4 cup measuring cup. Using an immersion blender, blend the crap out of it. Top with a sprinkle of paprika or olive oil and paprika if desired. Slow Cooker Tomato Soup. October 24, 2015. Slow Cooker Tomato Soup. 28 ounce can crushed tomatoes. 1 onion, chopped. 1 Tbsp olive oil. 4 cups vegetable broth. 1 vegetable bouillon cube. 1 tsp dried oregano. 1 tsp dried basil. 1/2 tsp black pepper. 1/2 can coconut milk. Wilt onion with olive oil in a pan. Add onion and crushed tomatoes in a blender and puree. Pour tomato mixture into crock pot. Add broth, bouillon cube, spices, stir to mix. Cook on high 3 hours or low for 6. Stir in coconut milk and serve.
