And I also picked up a tin of Hobnobs. These, too, are "nobbly" and are definitely hazardous, because they are delicious. They're little oatmeal cookies with chocolate on one side. Tentpole. Brian. I think I'll have one. Its the big one on the far right with the gold globes - its better looking straight on). The other thing I noticed on my ...

So you remember the tornadoes at the 500? Tyrone was there. And he miraculously survived, so the plans for world domination can proceed. Just finished watching the finale of this season of Alias. Which has had a claim to the "Best Damn Show on Television," particularly after West Wing. Took a dangerous step towards later-season ER. By Hiassen....

A late addition to the Lollipop League All-Munchkin All Star Team: Stefani "Fifi" Bismpikou (4'8", 5 stone 7). Not quite as exciting at the pool today, aside from the DQ, er, wait, not really. But I did miss the 50 free semis. And the Russian bird taking the silver (Queen Khorkina) needs to super-size next time she hits the Arches, but still, a class act. Posted by Big Oz @ 15:59.

Periodic song influences in life. Thursday, January 28, 2010. Strange highs and strange lows. 2010 has been a bit strange so far (Happy New Year, by the way). The weather here in South Florida went from hot (those 90s in early December). To cold (we had a week of 40's at night, and 60s during the day- I even had to use my heater at home). It was so cold, a local Masters meet got postponed a week because the water was too cold (the pool's heater couldn't keep up with the dropped air temp).

Periodic song influences in life. Sunday, February 28, 2010. The trick is to keep breathing. Well all the time ya spend trying to get back what's been took from ya, more is going out the door. I should be preparing to return to work tomorrow, but I'm just not yet ready for that. I have returned from my Thanksgiving weekend refreshed, but far from really ready for it to be over. Alas, the weekend can't be extended neither for the good time had, nor to hear the remainder of the Radio 1. Countdown still to air on the satellite radio in my friend's car. On Frida...

Periodic song influences in life. Tuesday, June 30, 2009. Yesterday afternoon, the weather was just bad; completely overcast, with not a break in the clouds anywhere. Not really any heavy rain, but no thin clouds, slightly bluer clouds either. And just enough lightning to discourage me from going to the pool. Today, however, the sky was just partly cloudy, and the rain was held at bay. And while a dark set of clouds did roll by (and drop some rain). Shoo-be do-be do-be do-be do-wop-bop. But what really s...
