The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines courage as:. Mental or moral strength to venture, persevere, and withstand danger, fear, or difficulty". When I think of courage my mind immediately goes to soldiers at war. Perhaps that's because my Dad was in WWII and his life was forever marked by that experience. Yet I find courage is a necessary ingredient for each and every day, not just when times and/or situations are exceedingly difficult or dangerous. I need to persevere, God will take care of the rest.
