Monday, February 7, 2011. Sprouted Coconut Sunflower Seed Bars. I really love this whole "sprouting" deal. I already went into minor detail in another post. On the benefits of sprouting, but I highly recommend you read up on it and give it a shot. There is so much info on the net about sprouting, and all sorts of different websites that sell special sprouting jars or bags and other helpful tools. Serving the Lord in Upstate New York. Skip to primary content. First New Zealand trip post. January 14, 2013. Jan 6, 2013. It’s amazing to realize it has been almost two weeks since we left home. I don’t know whether to write details or give an outline coverage. I will try the outline and see if I can limit myself! Jan 14, 2013 (NZ, 9:12 pm). I wish I had space to describe it. We all got trays and stared at the strange-sounding “authentic California cuisine,” wondering if it tasted good&#...At church to ...

Conversations with a pastor's wife. Formerly known as High Desert Blog). Tuesday, January 26, 2016. The Beauty of God's Creation Hoar Frost. This morning was amazingly beautiful. A grayish-white crystalline deposit of frozen water vapor formed in clear still weather on vegetation, fences, etc. I have seen many beautiful frosty mornings but this was, well, amazing. Tell me this happens by chance. This is the work of our amazing Creator. The goats c...

A few garlic cloves. 2 tsp dried cilantro. 1/8-1/2 tsp powdered cayenne. Corn or flour tortillas. Toppings of choice - lettuce, tomato, sour cream, ranch, black olives, cheese, etc. Put a spoonful or t...

Thursday, July 28, 2011. Greens, Fruits, and a Blender. I have sat down to write this post several times and didn't get it out. I'm determined this time, though! I'm here to rant, so bear with me. But, not to fear! I'm convinced my friends V and K are the only people who read my blog anyway, and they're too far to throw things at me. Plus, they agree, so it won't matter. ;). Do these things sound familiar? This is only a short list! Is it because we believe these things are unavoidable? Maybe But I think...
