Monday, March 11, 2013. Research tells us having pets is beneficial to your health. Petting your animal will lower you blood pressure, which can only be good for you. Dogs require exercise and give you a reason to get off the couch. Pets will love you unconditionally and listen to you talk as long as you talk. They provide companionship when you are feeling alone.
