Now thanks to those of giving me the courage, the desire, and the mental pictures to punch the lights out of and to lift weights too. You know who you are. Wednesday, May 12, 2010. This fire in flagstaff extended our road trip two hours! We helped Chris pack up his place in Tempe. These boys deserved a much needed rest, they worked so hard! We carb-loaded the night before the race at a little Italian joint. It was .mmm. delicious. Jess and I trying not to look TOO nervous before the race. The swim was 1/2 mile. They did a deep water start where we had to swim out to a buoy and tread water for 5 minutes before starting the race. Biked 13 1/2 miles. My friend...

Monday, July 27, 2009. Yesterday we had my family over for a bbq in our backyard. We have been working like crazy this summer to get our backyard into shape, and on the 24th we put a canopy up so we could have some shade back there. Friday, April 15, 2011. Our basement is really cold, so while I'm working on homework (sometimes hours at a time) I turn on the space heater. One of Ziggy's favorite things to do is to lay by the heater. There are times when he is literally pressed against it. I have to move him away a lot of the time because his fur gets so hot I'm afraid he'll catch on fire. I don't want that kind of a hotdog! Monday, April 11, 2011. Before the trip, Paula assigned each couple to come up with an activity to do during one day while we were there. It has the feel of Park City; quaint and refreshing. We got a steal on a room at one of the nicest resorts in town. I felt like we were living in luxury. :). This is the view from our room. Friday, March 25, 2011. A Touch of Spring. The other day I noticed our bush sprouting some buds. The next day they were blooming and beautiful. Oh, how I long for spring. It cannot come soon enough this year. Monday, March 21, 2011. Our family gathered together at my parents home for Lucy's blessing on March 19th. Tuesday, June 15, 2010. This is what I made last Friday in Ceramics. We put together the box, then let it dry hard enough that we could start carving it. It's not as hard as you'd think, but what a time consuming process! This was probably my favorite project yet. Thursday, December 29, 2011. Montana Xterra - July 23, 2011. Michael and his friend Chris went to Montana for another Xterra. I was glad Michael had someone to ride with because I unfortunately was not able to go. Looks like a beautiful place from the pictures {thanks to Chris}. Michael once again did really well and became one race closer to being qualified for the championship in Ogden. Michael took this picture on his way home. It's so vintage and actually the desktop pic on our computer right now.
