Saint Benedict, from what I know, was a normal person going about his normal life when he decided that it wasn’t enough, and was too much at the same time. This WordPress.com site is the cat’s pajamas. This week Mr. Bryant has asked us to read a text out of the book. Later in the chapter I read a section about creeds. I thought, Oh yeah, the creeds, the Apostles Creed, the Nicene Creed, the Old Roman Creed. What does this have to do with the chapter? Little did I know some of these Creeds were traced back to the second century! I’m not sure if I would consider this a major doctrine, and I’m not so sure if it’s a focal point in my theology. "Grandma" (the name the other wait staff called my waitress) took my order and while waiting I took out my sketchbook and did a quick drawing of the salt and pepper shaker. Thursday, October 1, 2009.
