Sunday Funday (teaching Excel in Romanian, pigs on ropes, etc…). 8:30 am I wake up because my host mom is shoveling the ashes out of the soba to prepare to make the morning fire. It’s about -12 degrees celsius (10 fahrenheit). Chicken tracks on my front porch. 9:00 am My alarm goes off – but I don’t want to get up. After spending the last 3 nights in Chisinau, I just wanted to sleep in my bed for as many hours as possible. E cald, da? 10:56 am Kids start to arrive....

Little snowman in cricova, moldova. My apologies for such a complainy post. I know people like to hear about the weather – especially when they live in a warm climate and especially if they’re old.
