Happiness is found along the way, not at the end of the road. Friday, October 24, 2008. UEA at the Sand Dunes. For UEA we headed to the Sand Dunes. We didn't ride as much as we would like because of the HEAVY TRAFFIC on the Dunes. So we just hung around camp,. Played with our good friends,. Took care of our dog,. Played in the sand,. Happiness is found along the way, not at the end of the road. Saturday, January 30, 2010. Scott took Max, Ed, and Talmage skiing a couple weeks ago, it was the first time for Max and Tal. Scott loved teaching them, he hasn't been skiing for over 13 years but it all came back to him. It's so fun for me to watch the boys get into the sport. I love that they get to spend time together playing! Max was a little nervous and cold but he's getting it. Tal, Max, Scott, and Ed waiting in line. Tal, Max and Ed.

When the kids got home from school on Friday we surprised them with a 5 day vacation to California. We had their bags packed and were ready to go. They were surprised and very excited! It was a great day to sit and read a book on the beach. Or dig in the sand. But we would not recommend getting wet. It's so cold and takes a long time to dry off. And for Max he kept his money!

Max stepped up and really helped with the party as I came down with laryngitis. He helped them go on a scavenger hunt that he created and play "hot Potatoe". The kids are now in their aprons and hats ready to cook . Here's Rachel with her girl-friends. And here she is with her boy-friends! I was shocked that they all ate what they made! Oh no she didnt.

She has been so excited to go to school with her buddy Gage. She loved her first day of school and was very glad to have her buddy Gage by her side. Links to this post. Sunday, August 24, 2008. Max's Star Wars Lego-Man. I couldn't believe in just a few hours he had conquered the instructions and had 398 tiny little pieces put together all by himself.

Friday after school we went camping for a night up American Fork Canyon with Ethan and Talmage. They played Star Wars. Performed a dance,. Went on a little hike,. And enjoyed the cool weather. Saturday, April 23, 2011. I love when its sunny. Saturday, April 23, 2011. Last Sunday i was able to experience something amazing. Some girls and i from school woke up really early and did Haircuts for the homeless in Salt Lake. My teacher has done this a couple times before and says it is something you will never forget. We average about doing 102 Haircuts! I cant wait to go again! Saturday, April 23, 2011. Tuesday, April 5, 2011. Child is my younger brother! In a couple of years it will be his!

Monday, March 21, 2011. So the other day i wanted to try and make my own Chocolate Chip Cookie. Guess what it turned out amazing. Its now one of my favorites.
