And yet, last week the boys asked if I could try making my Warm Vanilla Soother. 3 cups whole milk. 1/4 cup real maple syrup. 1/4 cup cocoa powder.

Jul 11, 2012. Step One: Sew strips of wrappers together. Step Two: Basket weave your strips. Step Five: Cut a piece of fabric to line wallet, make bias strips to match, sew to weave. I used one of my old feedsacks. I wonder what the thrifty housewife that carefully preserved my sacks would think of my use of her fabric? So the cook said.

Jan 31, 2012. Comforted by Corrie Ten Boom and Justin Bieber. The stomach bug landed and hovered at our house last weekend. Bad news: I missed the Sportsmen's Banquet at church, Drew's soccer game, Finn's basketball game, and church on Sunday morning. Good news: I plowed through my Netflix Instant Queue. Save a Pencil for Me, The Hiding Place, and Never Say Never. Bad news: I missed Finny's six points, I didn't make a dessert for the banquet, and I didn't get to hear the evangelist. Boy on a Buffalo.

Jul 19, 2012. Revealed to little children. Regina and I have been co-teaching the K-2nd graders for our Wonderful Wednesday's program at Twin Oaks. Each age group is learning The Seven C's of History from Answers in Genesis. We have one hour to pack in each lesson, activities, games, prayers, and snacks. We have a real sneaky suspicion that our kids are the ones that are teaching us. The timeline we are creating is posters with each week's C word that changed history. This looks amazing. God bless u ...

Dec 19, 2011. 1 Corinthians Christmas Version. If I decorate my house perfectly with plaid bows, strands of twinkling lights and shiny balls, but do not show love to my family, I’m just another decorator. If I slave away in the kitchen, baking dozens of Christmas cookies, preparing gourmet meals and arranging a beautifully adorned table at mealtime, but do not show love to my family, I’m just another cook. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fa...

Minister Grace: Psalm 118:26-29
http://ministergrace.blogspot.com/2012/12/psalm-11826-29.html
Dec 10, 2012. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. From the house of the Lord. And he has made his light shine on us. With boughs in hand, join in the festal procession. Up to the horns of the altar. You are my God, and I will praise you;. You are my God, and I will exalt you. Give thanks to the Lord. For he is good;. His love endures forever. My boys surprised me five years ago with a spindly pine that they had cut down all by themselves. T he tree has. The LORD is good, His love is.
