July 8, 2012 / garysain. I hope without all the aggrevation he will feel a little better. We have a scan on7/31 at 10 and then we see Dr Allegra a 2 for the results. Problems since last post | Cowboy Up

December 7, 2012 / garysain. Problems since last post. He is getting the same anitbiotics that he had the last time he was in. He has been feeling not too bad but today his stomach has really bothered him. He feels full and bloated. He finally threw up about 3 and felt a little better. They are also giving him blood. 2 units so far today. He has also bee so sad, as we all have, since our cousin Allister passed away last week after a 2 yr battle with cancer. Please pray for Carol and her family.

November 11, 2012 / garysain. We were so glad to get him home. Linda was with us and that helped. He has been feeling pretty good since he got out Monday evening, but, this morning about 4am we had to go to the ER to have a catheter put in. He had one all the time he was in the hospital but was doing good at home until Friday evening. Since it’s been so long, I can’t get my timeline accurate but you get the gist of it. Hope everything goes smoothly for a while. He’s been thru a lot lately.

Gary is a 65-year-old ranch hand from Okeechobee, Fla. He was diagnosed with esophageal cancer on Sept. 21, 2010. He is currently receiving treatment at the Shands Cancer Center at the University of Florida. This blog will follow his progress as he “cowboys up” to cancer. Carol / Nov 10 2010 6:53 am. September 11, 2012 / garysain. The wound from the burning looks so much better and that is the purpose of the bag, to keep the acidy stuff off his skin. He has been feeling quite good. Mowed the grass the other day and piddles with his planes in the shed. In fact, he just bought another one the other day so I am happy that he has something to keep him busy.
