Grilled Cheese Chronicles: May 2010
http://mackemmer.blogspot.com/2010/06/may-2010.html
Saturday, June 26, 2010. Emma was so excited about the Daddy-Daughter ball for activity days in May. Here she is with her date! Waiting for her date to pull out of the garage. And since there was so much hollabaloo, Kenna had to have her hair done too. Can you believe this million-dollar smile? Emma's 2nd grade program was also in May. Here she is with Mrs. Braby. And here is her contribution to her class project. June 27, 2010 at 9:49 PM. Kenna looks like shirley temple! June 29, 2010 at 1:20 AM.

Grilled Cheese Chronicles: December 2009
http://mackemmer.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 1, 2009. So, I decided to lay off Facebook for a while. I think that is why I haven't been blogging - I don't think you can do both at the same intensity - but my blog is more important. So here's a little update on life. Just look at this smile. Also, I finished phase one of operation: Death by Christmas Sewing. The girls' dresses are finally done! And, on top of it all, I found long-sleeve shirts at Target for $5 that were almost the exact same color as the dresses. SWEET!

Grilled Cheese Chronicles: War Paint and Wonder Capes
http://mackemmer.blogspot.com/2010/04/war-paint-and-wonder-capes.html
Friday, April 23, 2010. War Paint and Wonder Capes. I have to document this moment in history. I'm sure at some point I will look back and miss this. But for now, yesterday was one of the most Spencer-trying days of his life to date. Pink sparkly lip gloss: slathered in hair, rubbed all over eyes, and obviously, on his lips. Eyeliner: well, you can see for yourself. He looks sad because this was taken directly after his rebuking. Am I being punished for something? I'll close with a positive. Thanks t...

Friday, May 8, 2009. LIfe is a highway. I keep checking my comments a few times a day thinking, "Man, everyone has lost interest! Then I realize I haven't updated my blog since last weekend. So, here is the update. It's a whole lotta nothing special, but I hope someday I'll look back on it all and laugh to myself. What's new with my family? Me - I finally finished the laundry today. (Well, except for the two loads still in the washer/dryer, but what is that compared to the other 20 I have finished? Over ...

http://mackemmer.blogspot.com/2011/08/funny-things-my-babies-said.html
Wednesday, August 17, 2011. Funny Things My Kids Said in 2007-2008. Rather than have this as a sidebar, I'm just going to post it. Kenna as I was putting Spencer's nighttime diaper on: "He needs Cruisers - they're comfort flex.". Spencer when I tried to put some slightly soiled underwear back on him: "No, mom.dere skiddies in dem! 4/28 (Kenna after preschool): "Mom.I had a hard day today, because we had to draw our Z's.". Spencer every day "I wanna watch PU-PU PANDA.". 11/22 (Kenna): "Mom, I feel like I ...

Wednesday, August 17, 2011. I realize I haven't posted in, like, a year. But now that I'm not working and I'm over the Facebook addiction of old. The kids are back to school on Monday (can I get a hurrah! I should mention that I have no intention of keeping up with any of YOUR blogs, so if you expect me to read yours because you're reading mine, well.I still love you as a person. Grilled Cheese Chronicles: June 2009
http://mackemmer.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 30, 2009. Well, the kids and I finished our first book of the summer, James and the Giant Peach. It was definitely a good kid read. It had silly parts that they couldn't stop giggling about, and just a lot of wonder and imagination. Now we are on to Alice in Wonderland. I guess I should talk about Inkheart. Too, which I finished last week. But it did get suspenseful toward the end, and so far the second book, Inkspell. Is much better. I think the movie Inkheart. Monday, June 22, 2009. And R...

Grilled Cheese Chronicles: February 2010
http://mackemmer.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 10, 2010. Just a few little things. The other morning the girls made me breakfast in bed, which consisted of a poptart, a nutrigrain cereal bar, and a banana - all drizzled with honey. Quite creative, if I do say so myself. Today Spencer fell asleep sitting up while watching Cars. Since giving up his binki he hasn't really napped much, unless I nap with him. I busted up, because I knew he meant popsicles. Funny little guy. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Grilled Cheese Chronicles: July 2009
http://mackemmer.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 31, 2009. Mackenna has been making weird comments all day - like telling me I needed some of that Kaboom cleaner or whatever it is that the oxy clean guy does commercials for ('it makes clean-up easy, mom'). Just now when I was putting Spencer in a diaper for night time she comes up to me and says, "Mom, he needs Cruisers.they're comfort flex." When I started laughing at her she said, 'What? Thursday, July 23, 2009. Seriously, where do they come up with this stuff? And here is my drawing:.
