Friday, July 3, 2015. Our K-man is an official toddler and walking all over the place! Keaton was an excellent crawler - like basically a professional. I wasn't sure he'd ever walk he was that. But then one day it all clicked and off he went! He was taking strings of steps at 13 months, but really started to walk all over just when he turned 14 months! He carries all kinds of stuff around with him too and it's adorable. The bunny is probably my favorite :). He'll be running in no time! Live a Charmed Life.

Tuesday, July 7, 2015. We have a serious book worm on our hands. Keaton LOVES looking at books and having stories read to him. It's hard always getting to read to him when my hands are full of another little love, but we try to make it work. Most books he brings me I have memorized, so it's just a matter of him flipping the pages.without skipping a bunch ;0). When I just can't read he'll go to his chair. It's adorable. Crossed ankles. Friday, May 30, 2014. You win some, you lose some. Some days getting a photo of these two kids goes really well and other days, well, on those other days Hadley tries to make a break for it while Asher looks like we just shot his dog. Or Asher makes his "cheese." face while Hadley flirts with our neighbor. Or I try to get in on the action because we never did get a decent Mother's Day pic and they both try to squirm away. Friday, July 31, 2015. July happenings: weeks three and four. Our first two weeks in July were spent driving to, enjoying, and returning from the beach - then, of course doing the piles of laundry and getting back to normal. Friday, October 31, 2014. It's a week of special events - first was Hadley's birthday, next up…Halloween! Asher really loves the "How To Train Your Dragon" movies so when he asked to be 'Toothless Dragon' for Halloween I couldn't say no. One of my main goals in life is to dress these 2 in coordinating costumes for as long as I can get away with it - ha! Happy Halloween from Toothless the Dragon and his (stinkin' adorable) Viking friend! Can I just say that these costumes make me happier than they should?

Wednesday, July 8, 2015. Life's a beach - 2015. Over the week of July 4th we took our annual trip with Drew's family to Charleston and the beach! The view from our room was two thumbs up. The kids both loved the beach and water this year so it was especially fun! These three are the best. :-). This guy was impossible to keep out of the water! His first few years he wouldn't even put a toe in, so it's especially exciting to see him loving the ocean. Hadley meanwhile made friendly with her uncles. ha!

What I Write and Why I Write. Friday, November 28, 2014. It is 4:30 AM. The morning after Thanksgiving. Except I haven't really slept so it feels like it is still Thanksgiving. Just one long never-ending day. And I am not feeling very thankful. Instead I am feeling irritated. And frustrated. And tired. And crabby. And uncomfortable. A little angry too. Oh and hungry too. Wednesday, January 10, 2018. So we had the Cowell Family Christmas, Christmas at our house on the 25th, Ryan's birthday, AND THEN Christmas at Ryan's parents house. I actually really liked having a few days between the big day and traveling. Gave me time to clean things up, let the boys play with their new toys, pack, and spend time with just Ryan and the boys. It was also something to look forward to later in the week once the initial Christmas excitement started to wind down. Very lucky little guys!
