Following Fine Art Textile studies enabled her to explore her own creativity developing her own unique style. Currently Anne is a member of The Cowhouse Gallery, a collective, a group of 15 people with different skills and identities. This allows her to exhibit regularly local landscapes, seascapes, prints and large sketches of the nude.

Thirty-five years ago I decided to attempt to make leather belts incorporating tooled designs. I bought cut strips of leather, a book on the subject and the requisite tools and fittings from the local tannery. I then began what has turned out to be one of the most satisfying hobbies that I have ever had. I now make belts, guitar straps, watch straps and handbags, amongst other items.

I managed to get a BA(Hons) Fine Art and a Masters in History of 20th Century Art & Design. I practice in many forms of media. Having run other galleries for some years, I have now retired to concentrate on developing my own work.

I am also with Taking Space, a group of women artists who regularly have exhibitions in St. Ives Arts Club, The Crypt gallery and The Salthouse gallery. All my sculptures are original one off pieces.
