March 31, 2013. A Spring Trip to the Zoo. During our Spring Break last April, we met my mom at the zoo for a fun day. The flowers were BEAUTIFUL when we were there! We spent the day walking around and looking at all of the animals. The girls' favorite part was getting to feed a giraffe! We went on a fun train ride and ended the day with some ice cream. April 2, 2013. Girls Just Want to Have Fun! Last May, Allison had her annual spring dance recital. Gramma, Poppy, Nina, and Grandaddy were some of her biggest fans in the crowd! The girls were so cute in their costumes which went perfectly with their song, "Girls Just Want to Have Fun! They all did a great job and had a pretty complex dance, too. April 1, 2013. Happy 3rd Birthday, Lindsey! For Lindsey's 3rd birthday, we just had a small family party to celebrate. Gramma, Poppy, Nina, and Grandaddy all came over for cake and presents. Lindsey really wanted a Dora cake, so that's what she got! One of her favorite gifts was a ball cap and t-ball set. After cake and presents, we all went outside for some t-ball in the yard. February 26, 2012. For a birthday party, Allison chose to take her friends, Shelby and Caroline, to the Build-a-Bear Workshop. The girls chose what type of animal they wanted to make, helped to fill it with stuffing, and chose a heart for it. They had fun picking out an outfit for their animals, and they all three chose the same one. Gramma came along with us and even paid for each of the girls to choose a pair of shoes for their animals. They were very excited about that! Happy 6th Birthday, Allison!
