beware of the elephant in tall grass: August 2007
http://bewareoftheelephantintallgrass.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
Beware of the elephant in tall grass. Life comes at you fast. Thursday, August 30, 2007. What compels someone to become a public school teacher? Should I give them something - some sort of reward? Not only that; it's being held in the Louisiana Superdome! How many times in their lives will these kids have the opportunity to experience New Orleans? Currently, my kids are barely trying to get a performance on the field for us to use. I used to say, "it's like pulling teeth"! What can be done differently?

Beware of the elephant in tall grass. Life comes at you fast. Thursday, June 28, 2007. No internet at the Econlodge! No post last night - no internet at the Econlodge. We stayed just a couple of miles away from Mt. Rushmore last night, and most of the hotels were booked-up pretty early in the day. The Econolodge in Keystone, South Dakota had a room with one queen bed (that means the girls slept on the floor in sleeping bags). At any rate, yesterday was a blast! Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Badland...

Beware of the elephant in tall grass. Life comes at you fast. Friday, March 30, 2007. What it is, is politics! Was US. Attorney Carol Lam onto Cheney and his staff when they fired her? Try this on for size:. Washington, D.C. defense contractor Mithell Wade pled guilty last February to paying then - California Rep. Randy "Duke" Cunningham more than $1 million in bribes. The real target in Attorneygate was Carol Lam. All the other firings are a smokescreen. But of course this is not about. Last, but certai...

Beware of the elephant in tall grass. Life comes at you fast. Tuesday, November 28, 2006. What's going on here? Well, it's been a while since my last post. Those of you who are familiar with my yearly schedule know all about my life from the 3rd Saturday in November through the Saturday after Thanksgiving - you got it - parades with the marching band! All in all, it was a good parade season, especially with the changing of the Christmas tune this year. What kind of crap is that? I agree that Cosmo lost i...

beware of the elephant in tall grass: September 2006
http://bewareoftheelephantintallgrass.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
Beware of the elephant in tall grass. Life comes at you fast. Thursday, September 28, 2006. What is happening to me? I don't know what is going on. I watched Glenn Beck last night, and I agreed with about 98.9% of what he said! How stupid can we be? The Pope said something a couple of weeks ago and the Muslims went crazy - apologize - Hell No! To Hell with anyone who does not agree with me! Did that offend you? At this point, I really don't care. I'm ready for some radical Islam folk to die in mass q...

http://bewareoftheelephantintallgrass.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
Beware of the elephant in tall grass. Life comes at you fast. Tuesday, July 17, 2007. Out of Colorado, through New Mexico, into and out of Texas; all on the way to New Orleans, Louisiana. We had a five-course dinner that lasted for three hours - what fun. The house band (a jazz trio of upright bass, banjo, and trumpet) came up to play for us when we were having our dessert. That wasn't dinner, that was dining! We'll start with New Orleans). Some of the shops in the JAX Brewery building in NOLA. Inside of...
