Friday, July 17, 2015. Bulky Indigo-dyed Mittens for July. Easy, plain mittens in bulky yarn from the stash cupboard- this yarn is leftover from The Chunk. Which originally came from a thrifted pullover that I unraveled, the remains of which was then dyed by Michelle and me last fall with indigo. I set aside a few weeks ago in frustration will probably both be unraveled, because life is short and yarn is too pretty to be caught up in a halfway-wearable garment that will probably just live out its days on the shelf in the back of my closet. The costume has a battery-operated fan in the head, for ventilation. It also comes with a vest full of ice packs and a set of removable wings.
