The Triton Chronicles: November 2006
http://cph3.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 30, 2006. 5 down, 1 to go. 1 treatment to go. 5 year anniversary Friday! Deacs in the ACC Champ game Saturday. Don't go back to Duke for a month. Love to you all. Posted by CP Harris @ 9:46 PM. Tuesday, November 28, 2006. I'll take the Fifth. Chemo normally begins around 5 or 6. By 7, I usually ask the family to continue their argument (on lunar orbit, English grammar, etc) out in the hall, turning off the lights and closing the door behind them. As I've said, the nausea meds h...This ...

The Triton Chronicles: October 2006
http://cph3.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 25, 2006. Thanks for the encouraging words last week. As I've said, each new morning begins the best day until the treatment starts over. With that in mind, today is my best day. I'm feeling much stronger and less sick. As always, I appreciate your thoughts and prayers (especially next Wednesday). Posted by CP Harris @ 8:33 AM. Sunday, October 22, 2006. Hey, I think I'm due a complaint. Posted by CP Harris @ 11:25 AM. Thursday, October 19, 2006. I think I feel something. I’ve finished ...

The Triton Chronicles: July 2006
http://cph3.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 29, 2006. Same Bat Channel, New Bat Time. In order to have both surgeons present for the second surgery, we had to bump the date to the 21st of August. This is very positive for several reasons. 1 Hand surgeons are important when working on the hand area. 2 Chemo will start early September most likely, leaving room for the annual dove hunt at the farm. 3 This allows more time for my arm to heal from the radiation to better heal from the surgery. We're doing great, thanks for checking in.

The Triton Chronicles: January 2007
http://cph3.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 31, 2007. Testing.1, 2, 3. Over the past few weeks I've enjoyed greeting a bit of normality into my life. As of last week, I no longer have to have my blood drawn twice a week. As of this week, I can pretty much eat whatever I want. As of tomorrow, the port in my chest will be removed and I don't have to deal with having a doorbell sewn into my chest any longer. I'll get back to you tomorrow. The port's out. The tests all looked good. We're packing for Mexico. Adios Porto! After all th...

The Triton Chronicles: September 2006
http://cph3.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 29, 2006. Back to the lighter side of life. I do feel better this time. I'm not sure if my body if more used to the treatments, I'm not dealing with the stress of the port surgery, or the acupuncture treatments are working.but besides the same sick feeling, I do feel stronger. Now all I have to do is drop the 20 pounds I gain each treatment from the ten liters a day of IV fluids they give me to flush my system out (seriously). New pic on the Triton Photos). The Triton Chronicles: May 2006
http://cph3.blogspot.com/2006_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 31, 2006. A month ago I had the tumor removed with a procedure based on the thought that it was benign. From recent discussions, this was fine and should be considered a massive biopsy. For now my treatment will involve three stages. Will take place a few weeks after that after any needed healing has taken place. From my second opinion visit to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Posted by CP Harris @ 5:25 PM. What the hell is going on? Or cancer of the soft tissue. After radiologist n...

The Triton Chronicles: February 2007
http://cph3.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 17, 2007. Looking back and forward. Ashley and I had an amazing trip to Mexico. After a small routine surgery Thursday to remove the port, we hopped on a plane Saturday and flew to Zihuatanejo via a night in Houston thanks to strong headwinds resulting in a delayed flight and a missed connection. I don't even think I need to explain how that trivial bump in the road barely registered on my don't-give-a-damnometer after the past 12 months. Can I stop worrying? Will I forget this year?

The Triton Chronicles: December 2006
http://cph3.blogspot.com/2006_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 29, 2006. You know i'm a dreamer. But my heart's of gold. I had to run away high. So i wouldn't come home low. Just when things went right. It doesn't mean they were always wrong. Just take this song and you'll never feel. Take me to your heart. Feel me in your bones. Just one more night. And i'm comin' off this. Long and winding road. I'm on my way. Well, i'm on my way. I'm on my way. I'm on my way. You know that i seem. To make romantic dreams. Up in lights, fallin' off. I'm on my way.

The Triton Chronicles: June 2006
http://cph3.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 28, 2006. Radiologist said everything looked good again today. The majority of the hair has fallen out of the treated area. No big deal, I can always do fine with a little less body hair. The second surgery will include the removal of the existing scar which will involve an incision about 1 to 2 cm around the scar, maybe a bit larger at the ends. Posted by CP Harris @ 10:43 AM. Monday, June 26, 2006. As of this Friday I've:. Had 23 doctors appointments. With 12 different doctors. On July ...

The Triton Chronicles: August 2006
http://cph3.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 31, 2006. Thanks for all the prayers and good vibes. They must have worked. Got great reports from both surgeons today. The skin graft was 100% successful and the staples came out. Range of motion was decent, but after a month of home PT, everything should be back to normal in no time. From that end.huge success. The only downside is having to clean the rib sauce off my splint tonight. Looking forward to a fun weekend and a curious, nervously eager start to chemo Tuesday. We go back to D...
