SCA3P's collection territory is divided into 2 main zones separated by the Durance River. 1 The Plateau de Valensole, located to the east of the Durance in the Alpes-de-Haute Provence department, is a major production zone for the Cooperative where over 250 tons of lavandin is produced. This zone is characterised by highly specialised farms where all the factors of production have been optimised. The farms are located on varying altitudes, from 400 to 800 metres.
