Randy's Chess Blog: December 2007
http://googlychess.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 23, 2007. I was playing a 5-minute game on ICC tonight. I had a winning endgame, but the problem was that I was down to 1 second on my clock (Yeah I know, I need to move faster), and my opponent had almost two minutes. No problem, I thought. I will just promote my pawn to a Queen and sacrifice it for the pawn on g6 and get a draw. In the picture above, I have just played 57. a7, and I premoved 58. a8=Q. When my opponent played 57.Ne6? Randy's Chess Blog: September 2012
http://googlychess.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 05, 2012. Carls Jr. G/20, Mesa, AZ, Sept 5, 2012. Miguel (2137) - Randy (2008). I decided to play the Najdorf and I actually got a decent position. However, when the position got complicated, I cracked under the pressure. This move came as a surprise and for some reason, I only considered Bc5 and not Bb6 or Ba7. My game went downhill in the next few moves. 21Bc5 22. Bg3 Qf5 23. Bd3 Qe6 24. Rde1 Bb6 25. Rxe3 Bxe3 26. Qxe3 d5. Lessons from the Game:. Stop cracking under pressure. Here,...

Warrior Chess: January 2011
http://warrior-barry.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 21, 2011. Dec 17 I got to spend a few minutes with them. Then had them from Christmas Day thru Jan 2, 2011 and now it's back to every other weekend. :-) It's been absolutely AWESOME! They're loving it, too! Anyway, I'm just focusing on the boys. No girlfriends or activities that might interfere with them, etc. Just the boys, their well-being and happiness. :-). Randy's Chess Blog: February 2006
http://googlychess.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 26, 2006. Universal Winter Swiss - Day 2. I went 1-1 today, and ended up with 3 points. I tied for 2nd Place Expert and won a prize of $25. The good news is that I did not have any draws in this tournament. In Round 4, I had a tough game against Tom Manion. I was White in a Petroff Defense. He decided to defend the threat of checkmate in a very provocative way. Perhaps 32.Kf7 would have held the draw? Randy W. Ho. Saturday, February 25, 2006. Universal Winter Swiss - Day 1. Warrior Chess: November 2010
http://warrior-barry.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 4, 2010. With the exception of a single supervised hour, it's been 270 days since my boys have seen their Daddy. 270 days since this father has seen or heard the voices of the little ones he loves so much. I am moving in two weeks. I finally found a house, praise God. A fixer-upper right smack dab on the water! I lucked-out big time. I've been very, very blessed, rather! Just wish I had a family to enjoy it all with. :-(. Posted by B.A. Thursday, November 04, 2010. Kids Chess and Go.
