My Paratriathlon Journey
http://jim-smith.co.uk/../about.htm
My name is James Smith, I was born in 1972 six weeks early with a condition called Right Hemi Paresis, which means the right side of my body, arm, leg, and core are all under developed and don't respond as they should. My balance is also affected. At a young age I was really impressed by the real long technical name Right Hemi Paresis and just put it to the back of my mind, I knew I was different and it just made me more determined to keep up with Jonathon. I chased him everywhere, never caught him!

Exercise in MS - Inspired by 2012 Paralympic Games
http://www.tripletread.com/exercise-in-ms
Exercise in MS is so important. For people with MS, physical symptoms such as neurological fatigue, balance problems, dizziness and muscle spasticity can make traditional bike riding seem difficult or impossible and unsafe. People with MS can be sensitive to overheating because the protective sheath on nerves, myelin, has been attacked by the immune system. With cycling, a person using lower extremities apply force to the pedals, and there are continuous revolutions of the pedals in a circle.
