The Sanity Hunter: August 2012
http://sanityhunter.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 14, 2012. The Dark Knight Rises. Rises. Rises More, then Clunks Downward Spiral - A Movie Review. The end of Christopher Nolan's fantastic trilogy starts promising, gives a kick-ass plot and introduces interesting new characters(at the expense of Batman) yet it climaxes in the most conventional manner of summer blockbusters. Bale's performance is as stunning as his companions reprising their roles(Oldman, Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine). However, the surprise performance of the movi...

The Sanity Hunter: January 2013

Wednesday, January 16, 2013. Les Misérables: Big Momma of Musical Movies - Love IT or Hate IT. And I hated it. The cinematography is a little bit unfocused however, the close ups to the actors during their emotional performances is commendable. The direction seems unguided and looks to me that actors do alot of improvisation(which is good, if not too much). A shame, Tom Hooper(The King's Speech) used to be one of my favorite directors. The Sanity Hunter: May 2013

Thursday, May 30, 2013. Reading Challenge Day 11: The Books I Hate. The following are the books I have read and have hated:. E L James' Fifty Shades of Grey. Bob Ong's Alamat ng Gubat. Richard Bach's Jonathan Livingston Seagull. I know I know, who wouldn't love someone who breaks conformity and freedom from routine. However, I did not like the use of the metaphor of seagulls. I know I may sound illogical, but I just hated this book. Well, may be not hate hate. Labels: 30 Day Reading Challenge. The Wonder...

The Sanity Hunter: Reading Challenge Day 8: E. L. James' Fifty Shades of Grey

Monday, May 27, 2013. Reading Challenge Day 8: E. L. James' Fifty Shades of Grey. If you have asked me this three years ago, I may have answered Stephenie Meyer's Twilight. However, for Day 8 of the infamous 30 Day Reading Challenge. I find that the most overrated book ever published is none other than E. L. James. Fifty Shades of Grey. I will not waste any more words for this (heck, I wouldn't even bother placing its book cover in this post). But I say this to you. AVOID THIS BOOK. Who is the hunter?

Saturday, June 1, 2013. Reading Challenge Day 12: Pittacus Lore's Lorien Legacies. When you love reading books, there will be times that you'll encounter better written books than that of you used to read. There are of course books of quality that will transcend time and be forever etched in your minds and hearts. But there will be books that you'll wish you didn't love on the first place. So for Day 12 of the 30 Day Reading Challenge. No such luck the third entry, The Rise of Nine. Although Six's na...

Wednesday, June 6, 2012. The Beauty of Snow White and the Huntsman: Movie Review. It is a rare event where the beautiful set pieces and designs cover the mediocrity of a film, but that is the case for this twisted fairy tale movie. Snow White and the Huntsman. The ambitious visuals and set designs, even with mediocre script and development, makes the film worth your time. Three stars and a half stars out of five. Snow White and the Huntsman. http://sanityhunter.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 23, 2012. Start Anew with a New Blog. Is in my blood and it is already a large part of my life. Yet it's been a while since I last posted a blog, so I decided to be motivated to start anew by creating a fresh blog site, The Sanity Hunter. I know I had already spent some time talking about myself here in the Web, especially at my other blog, The Human Side of Technology. I will also be copying few of my old posts at The Human Side of Technology. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Who is the hunter?
