http://kimchiandquesadillas.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 31, 2012. June 9 (day 8). On Thursday we drove to sharks cove to meet cousin John again and to snorkel. It was a great place! It was the best snorkeling of our trip. I went out with annie and I would hold her hand and she would just be floating in her life jacket and I would have the flippers to really move us, but she's good at kicking, even without flippers. Jarom had to come find me because I was having a great time and the baby had gotten hungry.oops. Monday, January 30, 2012. Wednes...

Kimchi and Quesadillas: May 2010
http://kimchiandquesadillas.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 11, 2010. Jarom (and others) Graduated! Jarom Graduated from Law School and Commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Army on April 22 and 23. It was great. We had so much support from family and friends. (either that or they hung around for the free food). Jarom received the Kallunki award. It is in honor of Mrs. Kallunki's late husband and is awarded to a cadet for faith, good humor, etc. The description fits Jarom to a T! She was way nice. Jarom was sworn in by Colonel Leblow. So my kids lo...

The reason for the abundance of photos is simple. I'm still having fun with my new camera. Clark took some time to practice his newest hobby. Much cheaper than my newest! And of course, Hannah looked cute. Sunday morning Daniel made juice. After church we took a walk,. And then played outside for a while. The more pict...

Kimchi and Quesadillas: March 2010
http://kimchiandquesadillas.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 3, 2010. Lizzy (turned 3 in October) memorized this scripture for church. Now its "her" scripture. I thought I'd get caught up on the pictures from January and early Feb. Annie's picture for reflections went on to district. Its the one with butterflies. Annie is quite the artist, but if I tell her a theme to draw she just doesn't do her best work. Oh well, she has fun. I thought her poem was way better, but it didn't go on. Katherine loves washing dishes, and so does Lizzy. Lizzy has no ...

The Little Things: December 2008
http://rfamilyfun.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
The best man around! Soon to be Three. The Rest of the Story. Tuesday, December 30, 2008. The Dave Barry Year-in-Review look at the election and recession was too funny to pass up. Here's a condensed version for your enjoyment:. The Iowa caucuses produce two surprises:. Amid much fanfare, Congress passes, and President George W. Bush signs, an "economic stimulus package" under which the federal government will give taxpayers back several hundred dollars apiece of their own money, the idea being that ...

Country to the Core: People-Pleasing Debunked
http://countrytothecore.blogspot.com/2013/12/people-pleasing-debunked.html
Saturday, December 7, 2013. This week, I've made an observation that I should've really made forever ago and saved myself a lot of trouble:. People who spend their whole lives trying to please others aren't very likable in the long run. Yeah, I know, look at any Pinterest quote board and it'll tell you that a million times. But sometimes, you have to figure things out for yourself to have them really mean something to you. And I think I finally figured that out this week. So happy to see this up! I love ...

Country to the Core: July 2010
http://countrytothecore.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 3, 2010. It truly is a great day- the 234th anniversary of our country's independence. America truly is a great nation, founded by great men under the inspiration of God. It's constitution is flawless and amazing, and if we stick to the principles outlined in it and the Declaration of Independence, we will continue on throughout time as the greatest nation in History. That sounds like a great cause for celebration to me! The flag, it waves. My heart, it soars. How great it is to be outdoors.
