Monday, December 28, 2009. Getting closer to homecoming. It's been a long, long road, but the end is in sight. We also squeezed in Ian's third birthday before my oldest sister and her husband had to return home. What a fun age! He really tore into his presents, and he insisted upon a yellow cake with yellow frosting, so we ended up making him a big smiley face cake. He loved it! He's been busy trying to keep up with the "big boys" lately, and getting bigger all the time. Saturday, December 19, 2009.

My brother and sister-in-law adopted a baby girl, Ella Grace who was born on 4/19/12. She is an absolute precious beauty and we are so excited to have a girl cousin for Addison! The Lord has truly blessed our family! Julie and I with our girls. Our happy little girl! I love this one! This Is The Day.

Thursday, May 16, 2013. Rachel Lillian Carpenter is Born! However, she did make it and after 4 pushes, little baby Rachel came right out! She was what they call "stunned" because she came out so fast and they had to try to stimulate her to cry by flicking her heel and such. She did start to cry a little eventually and all the while Daddy was watching our little on e a nd got to cut the umbilical cord. She was 7 pounds and 15 ounces and was 20 3/4 inches long! As a little side note ,. Thats wonderful....
