If you don’t think your five year old code sucks then you haven’t learned anything the last five years! Symbolic Calculator, Part 4: Subtraction. We will start this session with taking the next item off the todo list, this happens to be subtraction. So as usual we will start with writing a test. TestMethod] public void EvaluateSubtractinOfTwoLiterals() { TestExpressionEvaluation(7, 9-2); }. So that was not really what was expected. To fix this we need to either backtrack, which currently is simply to del...

Symbolic Calculator, Part 1: Introduction | Crafting Code

http://craftingcode.org/2013/03/26/symbolic-calculator-part-1-introduction

If you don’t think your five year old code sucks then you haven’t learned anything the last five years! Symbolic Calculator, Part 1: Introduction. If you don’t think your five year old code sucks then you haven’t learned anything the last five years! Symbolic Calculator, Part 2: Getting started. We are going to start with the first item on the todo list, which is to evaluate a literal number. For reference the top part of the todo list currently looks like this:. Evaluate 1 2 3. Deal with negative numbers. Here is the first test we will add:. We run the tests and check that they fail and that they fail for the expected reason. Which they do. Public...
