Crafting Our Life: Blocks!

http://craftingourlife.blogspot.com/2011/09/blocks.html

Monday, September 5, 2011. My friend Rachel from nursing school just recently had a little girl; the latest addition to what I have lovingly decided to call the Beth-El Baby Boom! So, in celebration of this little beauty, I made her a set of blocks based on the tutorial I found on a favorite blog. You can look it over here. If you would like to try your hand at them! I used leftover scraps from the sides to make the letters for the appliques. Posted by Meara O. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Monday, January 3, 2011. Quilts, quilts, quilts! I didnt want to make the first post super long, so I split them up! I also finished the quilts for my nieces just in time for Christmas! Here are a couple more photos for you. Rachel loved her quilt! The green and pink was inspired by Rachels nursery, and I loved the flowery fabric. Thanks to Amanda, my sister in law, for the beautiful pictures! More after the jump. Posted by Meara O. So, heres a couple of things I have been working on:. Posted by Meara O.

Sunday, February 13, 2011. This post will be all about one of my favorite things. BIRTHDAYS! In honor of our niece Lauras 6th birthday, which is on Valentines Day, I am posting pictures of her present and the card I made her. It was quite a crafty week for me, considering I had a whole mess of school work to attend to. Posted by Meara O. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

http://craftingourlife.blogspot.com/2011/08/im-back.html

Wednesday, August 17, 2011. After a 6 month unintentional hiatus, I am BACK! Thank goodness; I am in desperate need of a diversion right now, and crafting is just the thing :). In the past months we have been busy in the O house. I graduated from nursing school and passed my NCLEX, we moved all of my stuff across the country, Daniel and I live together in the same house now, AND last but not least we are getting ready to welcome a baby girl into our family this December! Crafting Our Life: Baby hat and mittens

http://craftingourlife.blogspot.com/2011/10/baby-hat-and-mittens.html

Tuesday, October 18, 2011. Baby hat and mittens. Yep, I am going crochet crazy. I am getting a head start on Christmas presents for all the little ones in our life (and those soon to be). I made an earflap hat and matching mitten pattern. I used a soft wool yarn that felts nicely, but I didn't felt any piece too much because I wanted the stretchiness to stay in each piece. The patterns are after the jump. Start with a magic ring: Ch 1, 5 sc. Ch 3, 2 dc in each stitch. (10). Ch 1 and turn. Sc in each ...

Crafting on the Prairie

Crafting on the Prairie. Monday, August 25, 2014. Table 3 Steampunk Soiree 2014. It's been 3 weeks since I attended the Steampunk Soiree Adventure in Virginia hosted by Epic Paper Arts. I had so much fun meeting so many of my On-line friends. I created this layout to sit next to my 3 Soiree projects! At the Soiree we received custom chipboard pieces for our projects by Blue Fern Studios. We also received 2 extra pieces for our own projects and I used 1 of them on this layout. Crafting Out Of Context

Crafting Out Of Context. Starting slow for 2017. January 10, 2017. January 10, 2017. This year has started off slowly with some extra time off work and some terrible weather. I have not felt at all like knitting, with the exception of a scrap yarn blanket I started just before Christmas. I’m a little surprised at how much I am enjoying it, I’ve avoided starting one for so long, but glad that I have started it. I also purchased a book themed cross stitch pattern from Etsy. Which I am also really enjoying.
