CraftLee: October 2014
http://craftlee.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 9, 2014. I don't need to tell any of you Game of Thrones fans that 'Winter's Coming',. And whilst the rain and winds been pelting us here in Ireland; I've been busy (drooling over that handsome divil Ned Stark and) working away on a warm and wonderful hooky project! I'm a huge fan of the lovely Lucy over at Attic 24. DELIGHTED to see her as a regular feature in my monthly Simply Crochet magazine. Inspired by Lucy's beautiful Blooming Flower Cushion. So I can snuggle up to it!

Wednesday, April 17, 2013. I've taken part in two bloggy swaps this year so far. I want to share with you the gorgeous gifts I've been lucky enough to receive. The lovely people who sent the to me! So here we go! First up was the Sweet Pouch Swap. Organised by the lovely Ros at Sew Delicious. You might remember my offering here. My swapper was the Sweetest! Her name is Jacqueline and she hangs out over at 'From Out Of The Chaos'. I just LOVE her colour combinations and fabric choices! I had some help!

Love Natalie.......: February 2014
http://lovenatalieuk.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
For all things homemade - knitting, sewing, cakes and cookies. And lots inbetween! Sunday, 23 February 2014. I finished my blocks! That doesn't give me that long to get all the sashing done, the quilting and the binding. I'm sure she won't mind if I run a little over time, but I will endeavour to get it finished before her big day. The last 2 blocks I made were another wonky star and a log cabin (this will be my block as part of the Little Blog Quilt Bee in August so I wanted a practice). I did take some...

For all things homemade - knitting, sewing, cakes and cookies. And lots inbetween! Sunday, 27 July 2014. I've had it today! I did all the boring things in life yesterday so that today I could indulge myself completely - and I have! Where would we be without a small amount of washing, ironing and cooking but I don't expect miracles. Sewing punctuated with cups of tea and a sneaky chapter of a good book ( Book of Life by Deborah Harkness if you were wondering) - the Perfect Day. So what do I do? My other s...

For all things homemade - knitting, sewing, cakes and cookies. And lots inbetween! Sunday, 29 June 2014. I've not written a blog post for a couple of weeks because I've not had time to do much crafting. Life just sometimes gets in the way! In between times, I have been reading lots of blogs - it's like having an ever updating magazine at your fingertips. Yesterday, I dusted off my sewing machine, determined that I was going to Do Some Sewing. And what happened? One successful project from the last couple...
Love Natalie.......: King Cole Cardigan
http://lovenatalieuk.blogspot.com/2014/09/king-cole-cardigan.html
For all things homemade - knitting, sewing, cakes and cookies. And lots inbetween! Tuesday, 9 September 2014. With more than a little help from my Mum, I've finished a cardigan to keep me warm through the winter. It was a King cole DK pattern and was quite straightforward - until I got involved! So how come I ended up with a back and 2 front pieces all different lengths? Remember my catchphrase for 2014? Finished is better than perfect? 10 September 2014 at 10:03. For all things homemade - knitting, sewing, cakes and cookies. And lots inbetween! Tuesday, 23 September 2014. Handmade Fair at Hampton Court. I booked my tickets ages ago for this event and have so been looking forward to the day. And it totally lived up to my expectations. My friend and I arrived nice and early so that we were there when it opened. The picture above is of Kirsty just be fore she cut the ribbon to open the fair - she was explaining how they had asked for (and had been provided with!

For all things homemade - knitting, sewing, cakes and cookies. And lots inbetween! Sunday, 27 October 2013. Thank you for all the lovely comments last week about my gift tags. I realise that many of you have paper crafting skills that far exceed my own but Gertie asked how I had made them so here is a mini tutorial:. I then put the glue along the edges of the greeting that I wanted to use. Couldn't be simpler really although I was surprised when Mum showed me just how easy this was. In other crafty news,...

For all things homemade - knitting, sewing, cakes and cookies. And lots inbetween! Sunday, 27 April 2014. Little Blog Quilt Bee Block #2. As we approach the end of April I thought I'd share with you a picture of my wonky log cabin block, the April Block in the LBQB. Sunday, 20 April 2014. This is the first one I made. The pattern calls for fusible interfacing to be used, with the option of fusible fleece as well. This one has the interfacing only so is less sturdy than the other but I'm using it ...That'...

For all things homemade - knitting, sewing, cakes and cookies. And lots inbetween! Sunday, 3 November 2013. A VERY Scary Pumpkin Indeed. Half term week went out with a bang this term, finishing as it did with Halloween and a fireworks display. I have managed to finish a Christmas gift during the week but cannot show it yet so just a brief post from me. I have little more to show than this. The scariest pumpkin around! And Cruella de Ville without the gorgeous bag that someone made for her last week.

For all things homemade - knitting, sewing, cakes and cookies. And lots inbetween! Thursday, 28 August 2014. A Nearly Finish Quilt! Readers of my blog on Monday will remember that I mentioned another summer holiday craft project that was "finished". In truth, I've only finished the top so far but I think that counts, doesn't it? I've now washed the backing fabric and sorted my batting so I'm ready to get on with basting and quilting but I wanted to share this project with you all the same. Stay in her PJ...

Craft Leftovers
Sunday, November 04, 2007. I usually start the summer to fall to winter layering with fingerless glove, a light scarf, and a jacket or thick sweater. Then it goes to a hat, thicker scarf, full gloves, and a medium coat. Now I’m moving into the winter coat, thick wool hat, long warm scarf, and thick mittens. There is only one issue. Last late winter early spring I lost my mittens! What is a girl to do? Perfect for any lady in the winter. Download the Lady Moss Mitten pattern here ( pdf. Ad up in the sideb...

Books & zines. Knit Pattern: Thrummed Lady Moss Mittens. December 12, 2017. December 12, 2017. This is one of my favorite winter patterns and I still wear them every cold weather season. I’ve also made them larger for Jason which he refers to as his ridiculously warm mittens. It was first published November 11, 2007. What am I to do? Lets give that a shot too. I must say I really enjoy them, they are super warm and really cute to boot! Perfect for anybody in the winter. Lady Moss Mittens Knitting Pattern.
