Monday, 17 August 2015. It was such an enlightenment, watching the videos by Leandra from Paperartsy, demonstrating Gels, Pastes and Mediums last night on the PA blog. I am relatively new to crafting but still felt like I had had my head buried in the sand for some time. So, part way through one of the videos, I paused it and prepared a journal page by spreading Crackle Paste with a palette knife. Monday, 25 May 2015. Bank Holiday Monday and an early trip to Ikea this morning for some frames for my recent pics! Thursday, 23 July 2015. I have been fascinated by the latest blog challenge on Paperartsy and decided to have a go.one more time! Sorry for the dreadful pun! I was in Sainsburys the other day when I saw this clock and "ping" lightbulb moment! I decided to decorate it in the style of the topic Time! No idea where it would go, but that is half the fun. First, I gave the clock a coat of PA fresco Stone. I glued them with Claudia Helmuth Matte medium. Quite pleased with the transformation. Proud, June 16.

Monday, 27 July 2015. I sat and watched the new video on the Paperartsy blog this afternoon! Flowers is the theme and the samples were glorious! It inspired me to have a play and I decided to make it a practical one. A while back, I created a series of framed pics, a book cover and a zipped bag using bright fresco paints and stencilling. I decided to adapt this style and create something for the flower topic. I chose a plain white gift bag as my substrate. I added a couple of sentiments from HPXT03.

Saturday, 25 July 2015. I should have been at a Sue Carrington class today, but after 2 weeks of middling health, I wasn't quite up to the journey and the intensive day! I took things easy and did a bit of yoga and then had a look at my iPad! There was a new post from Alison Bomber, demonstrating some fabulous cards. After I had googled the method that she described." wrinkle free distress technique". I set to work. First, I glued some manuscript paper to my card and painted over with PA fresco Chalk.

Sunday, 23 November 2014. Mop up Christmas Tree. Lots of exciting stuff as usual on the Paperartsy blog this month. Anneke's fabulous book of Holiday Memories jumped out at me. I have adapted her idea and used on a Christmas Card. Pushed for time at this time of year, I used some mop up papers and added one of the new PA christmas sentiments; tiny bit of glitter and a few jewels.
