Copper will naturally tarnish over time, due to its exposure to the air and the sweat on your skin. Because of this, some copper jewellery is sold with a coating to prevent tarnishing. Make a solution out of warm water, a few drops of lemon or lime juice, and a teaspoon of salt. Mix it thoroughly. Remove the jewelry and rinse thoroughly. Repeat if some tarnish still shows.
