The Leathercraft Shed: Back in my Shed!
http://the-leathercraft-shed.blogspot.com/2013/02/back-in-my-shed.html
Thursday, 7 February 2013. Back in my Shed! I've had a bit of a break from my shed, mostly down to it being frozen up or just plain too cold to work in! I miss being in there, listening to my radio though, so the recent thaw was very welcome! I began work on this notebook cover back in December, but only got it finished recently. What do you think? I have also been making a start on two new Filofax-style organisers -. I love big, old trees and enjoyed carving this out freehand. The leather I used for...

CrystalMoonCat: April 2015

Squeezing the Pips Out of Life! Wednesday, April 15, 2015. In a Similar Vein. Apologies for big gap in posts. My first chemo session knocked me for 6. You know you’re in for a rough ride when you can’t even keep your anti-sickness tablets down! Here is a picture of it attached to me - I’m thinking of sending the pic to Steven Moffatt, the head writer at Doctor Who and suggesting that he write about a Worthing Craft Artist who is slowly morphing into a Cyber woman all funded by the NHS. They said I would ...

Squeezing the Pips Out of Life! Saturday, February 28, 2015. Everything but the Kitchen Sink! Dressings have been removed and a bit more fluid released in to the world. My surgeon is very pleased at how the healing has been progressing. She had 2 nurses with her who helped with prising off the dressing (which was painless btw). In my head I kept imagining that it would be like the dentist with his knee in your chest trying to grapple with a feisty tooth. Tablets for 5 – 10 years. Can’t think of any...

Squeezing the Pips Out of Life! Tuesday, August 25, 2015. Oh The Joy of Hairy Legs! I never thought in a million years that I'd get so much pleasure from dragging my razor up and down my hairy legs! As you know from previous posts chemotherapy ate all my body hair and I mean all of it. 160; So, although I was pleased not to have to shave my legs during the summer (remember those 2 sunny weeks we had in July? So far two Hufflepuff cosies have gone to Australia and another one has just gone to Sweden!

CrystalMoonCat: Why I’m Giving Up Chemotherapy
http://crystalmooncat.blogspot.com/2015/06/why-im-giving-up-chemotherapy.html
Squeezing the Pips Out of Life! Thursday, June 11, 2015. Why I’m Giving Up Chemotherapy. I’ve just finished session 4 of chemo. I’ve had 3 x sessions of FEC 100 and 1 x session of Taxotere and I can’t take anymore. My body is gradually being poisoned to death by these drugs which incidentally do not know the difference between good cells and bad cells. They wade in there and destroy everything leaving your body at severe, and I mean severe. Well this patient has had enough, I know instinctively that my b...

CrystalMoonCat: PICC Me!
http://crystalmooncat.blogspot.com/2015/03/picc-me.html
Squeezing the Pips Out of Life! Wednesday, March 25, 2015. So I turned up at the hospital this afternoon expecting to have the PICC line. She took me to the actual chemo ward where I’ll get the treatment. Eight bays in all with nice comfy chairs and more monitoring equipment than N.A.S.A. There were about 3 people there undergoing chemo. Nice and bright and airy, no trace of ‘let’s hold hands and contact the living’. No reason for picture below, I just like looking at it.
