Two wallets (from the Favorite Things "A Safe Place" pattern). I LOVE this pattern, it's the perfect sized wallet, holds everything you could possibly need (it has 12 card slots, 2 open pockets behind the card slots, a zipper pocket and a snap/velcro pocket). Sunday, January 24, 2010. Had a very productive week! Spent most of my time sewing baby clothes, mostly dresses, nothing cuter than tiny clothes! But I will start off with the other projects I finished up. First up is a scarf I started last Spring (think April 2009). it's a crocheted scarf using a mesh stitch that I found in a stitch dictionary. using a 100% cotton (mercerized) yarn. Monday, February 01, 2010. I meant to get this posted yesterday, as my final January post, but oh well. January turned out to be very productive. I made a total of 53 items (if you count individual things that are the same), that's kind of awesome, so I am hoping to keep the madness going through February as well. Crafting and reading with a toddler. August 8, 2015. A 100% linen yarn in fingering weight and knitted Vasa by Dianna Walla. The pattern called for a merino fingering and as I stuck to the pattern the linen fabric wasn’t quite as tight as the merino, but I really like how it turned out and the drape of the fabric. It’s nice and cool on a hot day. I’m also very fond of the simple design of the garment. Pattern: Vasa by Dianna Walla. Yarn: Karin Oberg Kalinka in blue and lilac. Needle size: 3 mm Link.
